Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design and implement data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence tools.
JD:
Key Responsibilities
Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Perform advanced data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query (M language) transformations.
Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and SharePoint.
Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
Troubleshoot and improve existing reports, queries, and dashboards.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage deployment pipelines in the Power BI Service.
Follow and enforce best practices in report design, data governance, and documentation.
Ensure proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service environments.
Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and preprocessing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Microsoft Certifications (PL-300, PL-600) are a plus.
