The death of young women who came to Chennai from abroad to look for work in a road accident has caused a great tragedy.
Lavanya from Andhra Pradesh and Srilakshmi from Kerala were working in a software company in Nawalur, Chennai. They were going to their accommodation after work yesterday. Around 11 pm, when they were trying to cross the road at OMR, a speeding car hit them both.
The driver of the accident vehicle was Motishkumar, a youth from Chennai. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol while driving. In connection with the accident, Motheesh Kumar has been arrested and the Pallikarana Traffic Investigation Police is investigating.

விபத்துக்குள்ளான வாகனத்தை ஓட்டிச் சென்றவர் சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த மோதிஷ்குமார் என்ற இளைஞர். அவர் வாகனம் ஓட்டும் போது குடித்துவிட்டு போதையில் இருந்தது தெரியவந்தது. விபத்து தொடர்பாக, மோத்தீஷ்குமாரை கைது செய்து, பள்ளிக்கரணை போக்குவரத்து புலனாய்வு போலீசார் விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்.
